The famous Paris variety show Moulin Rouge has made a groundbreaking decision: It will from now on no longer perform shows with animals . This welcome news comes after public pressure and criticism from the Paris city government. An important step for the animal welfare of possibly will have an impact on other variety theaters and circuses .

However, the vaudeville has already recently stopped the show with giant snakes. Now follows the decision to also take the horse show “The Little Horses” out of the program.
